Job Description Location - Southfield Hours - 7am-530pm Full Time Role Overview As a Patient Registration Rep, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You¿ll handle patient registration, insurance eligibility verification, and cash collections, while advocating for patient needs and providing outstanding customer service. Your role is vital in creating a positive and efficient healthcare experience for all. What You Will Do Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.Verify insurance eligibility and collect payments accurately and efficiently.Update patient registration and insurance information in our systems.Respond to inquiries from callers and customers, advocating for their needs.Perform new patient registration and preregistration tasks as needed.Maintain a fast-paced, organized workflow in a dynamic environment. Required Qualifications What You Will Need High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Ability to provide exceptional customer service over the phone, in person, and in writing. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, and/or insurance eligibility verification in a hospital or medical office setting.EPIC training/experience and familiarity with insurance payor systems and ICD-10 medical terminology.
