Role: Emergency Department Nurse Leader responsible for overseeing shift operations, patient flow, staff coordination, and ensuring quality patient care within the emergency setting. Responsibilities: Lead staffing, monitor patient throughput, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage physician relationships to optimize departmental efficiency and patient experience. Supervise patient placement, oversee care delivery processes, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Provide staff guidance, feedback, and support departmental emergency preparedness. Act as a liaison with patients and families, promoting a respectful, patient-centered environment. Support policy development, staff engagement, and departmental goals aligned with organizational vision. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 3 years of nursing practice in an emergency setting, with strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications or equivalent, with additional certifications preferred. Must demonstrate effective communication, clinical expertise, leadership ability, and collaborative teamwork. Key Duties: Oversee patient flow, facilitate interdepartmental coordination, evaluate care quality, contribute to performance improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance. Lead staff development and promote a culture of trust, safety, and excellence in emergency services.
