About the role
Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, responsible for providing comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate care effectiveness
- Coordinate with other departments
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality
- Maintain a 26-bed ED
- Support a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Work alongside patient care techs, paramedics, and support staff
- Adhere to teamwork, professionalism, and standards
Requirements
- Current RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications (or within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Unit-specific certifications as required
