About the role
Provides professional nursing care in a 24/7 emergency department serving all ages, from pediatrics to seniors.
Responsibilities
- Perform head-to-toe assessments
- Monitor hemodynamic status
- Triage patients accurately
- Collaborate with physicians
- Respond swiftly to patient condition changes
- Educate patients and families on pain management
Requirements
- Current NV RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (or within 6 months of hire)
- PALS certification (or within 6 months of hire)
- 2-3 years of emergency or critical care experience or extensive EMS background preferred
