Registered Nurse - Emergency Department, Full Time Nights

About the Role

An ER Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in a 24/7 emergency department serving patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and coordinate with specialists to ensure optimal treatment.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments on diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Utilize triage processes for timely care, assign accurate triage categories, and monitor hemodynamic status.
• Assess and manage pain, educating patients and families on pain control techniques.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status, diagnostic results, and respond swiftly to changes.

Requirements

• Current Nevada RN license.
• 2-3 years of emergency department or critical care experience preferred, or extensive EMS background.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 6 months of hire).
