About the role

The Patient Experience Coordinator is responsible for organizing all processes related to assessing, measuring, and responding to internal and external clients. This includes administering patient experience assessment tools for patient satisfaction and managing customer complaint data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Captures and analyzes patient feedback through surveys and complaint management systems.
  • Coordinates the administration of patient experience assessment tools for patient satisfaction.
  • Manages the customer complaint data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitates Leadership Rounding Debriefing sessions with the management team.
  • Trains management on the use of complaint management and survey vendor systems.
  • Responds to patient and family complaints, serving as the Patient Advocate.
  • Supports the management team and Risk in responding to complaints and grievances.

Requirements

  • Minimum one to two (1-2) years in a hospital environment.
  • Complaint management experience.
  • Coordination of meetings and education programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Skills

  • Accuracy in Reporting Outcomes/Results.
  • Communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of leadership and personnel.
  • Presentation skills for education programs.
  • Excel spreadsheet development including pivot tables.
