About the Role

The Patient Experience Concierge is the Hospital's Director of First Impression, responsible for the patient and family member's initial needs. This role connects patients and families with accurate information, maintains relationships with supporting departments, and demonstrates excellent customer service and positive interpersonal skills when dealing with patients of all ages, families, community members, and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Acknowledges, greets, and assists visitors.
  • Represents the hospital positively, interacting in a courteous and helpful manner with patients, families, guests, and hospital staff to convey a positive first impression.
  • Uses strong communication skills to serve as a liaison between patient, family, and clinical staff.
  • Seeks satisfactory and expedited solutions to complaints, problems, or special needs.
  • Coordinates patient and guest services for the reception area.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification/experience.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
  • Computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel.
  • Previous experience in customer service required.
  • Flexibility in work schedule.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and strong follow-through skills.

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.84 per hour, depending on experience.
