Patient Dining Associate (Full-Time and Part-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aides) to provide meal services in a healthcare setting. This role supports a culture of compassion, quality, and community service, requiring a caring attitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Training is provided for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections.
• Assemble and deliver meals accurately and timely.
• Manage tray tickets and ensure meal safety and quality.
• Collaborate with nursing and culinary teams to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, cultural preferences, and special diets.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards, including HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies.
• Support dietitians by monitoring patients on special diets or with specific nutritional needs.
• Maintain communication regarding patient concerns.
• Complete required reports as per policies.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and interpret in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Capacity to lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
