PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (FULL TIME)

About the role

CulinArt Sector is seeking a full-time Patient Dining Associate at MSK-KOCH INPATIENT - 530 East 74th, New York, NY 10021. Applications can be submitted online. The schedule is full-time with variable days and hours, details to be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure compliance with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Work with the culinary team to accommodate dietary needs such as allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policies.
• Communicate issues or concerns to appropriate personnel and complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations and follow infection control policies.
• Assist dietitians in managing patients with special dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital care experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.
