Patient Coordinator - Float - Part Time

About the role

Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient flow, and perform administrative tasks to ensure a smooth check-in/out experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow
• Verify medical and vision insurances
• Communicate with patients, doctors, and managers
• Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in person
• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter
• Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave
• Answer phones (both external and internal)
• Assure prompt, courteous service at all times
• Practice urgency at all times with patients' time, as well as Doctor's time and schedule
• Manage patient flow in the office
• Knowledge of common fees charged for common visits and collect correct payments
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer
• Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Favorable result on Background Check
• Basic computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Excitement to learn and grow
