Patient Collections Specialist

Responsibilities

• Receive and post payments to patient accounts daily.
• Calling patients to collect balances due.
• Working accounts receivable to get any unpaid balances paid up.

Requirements

• Strong history of collections.
• Strong phone skills.
• Solid work history.
• Organized, reliable, detail-oriented, able to handle a high volume of work.
• Previous knowledge of insurance verification, authorization, claim filing, and appealing claims.
