Responsibilities
- Perform a dynamic range of duties and functions throughout the hospital
- Aid in basic nursing care
- Transport patients
- Conduct clerical functions
- Interact with patients using strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with healthcare practitioners or registered nurses for comprehensive care
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (must apply within seven (7) days of hire)
- Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days of hire
- Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure
- Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible
- MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R
- Current BLS Certification
- Recent bed-side care experience in a health care environment
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
