About the Role
Work under the supervision of professional nurses on a 24-bed inpatient medical/surgical telemetry unit. Assist with post-operative surgical and medical conditions, including general surgery, urology, gynecology, vascular, and trauma cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care
- Support admissions and discharges
- Observe patient conditions and report changes
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent. BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Medical Assistant certification
- NCPCT certification
- Emergency Medical Services experience
- Current clinical student
- Recent healthcare experience (preferred)
