Responsibilities
Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store, and prepare other supplies.
Qualifications
Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum experience: None, but acute care and/or previous clinical experience is preferred. Required licenses/certifications: Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification within 90-days of hire/transfer.
Skills
- Prior basic experience performing clerical or customer service duties with prior HUC training/experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
- Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment
