About the Role

Be the heart of compassionate care in a patient care support role with us! In this vital role, you'll provide essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the RN or LPN in the provision of patient care and tending to the personal care needs of the patient as directed
• Transcribing and data entering physician orders
• Retrieving patient information
• Maintaining patients' data records
• Answering phones, taking and reporting messages
• Taking and delivering/picking up specimens and supplies
• Ordering and restocking of unit supplies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous Patient Care Technician experience preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) or E.M.T. or documented evidence of successful completion of an accredited nursing school program
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
