About the Role
Be the heart of compassionate care in a patient care support role with us! In this vital role, you'll provide essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient.
- Serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate.
- Affords assistance with maintaining a safe and clean unit environment.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Required High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Certification:- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program, Florida-issued CNA license, or completion of first semester of Registered Nurse program.
- Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention): Must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer into role date.
