About the role

The primary function of the Patient Care Technician (PCT) is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.

Schedule

Swing shift: 1100–2300 or 1300–0100

Requirements

  • 12 college-level credit hours including a passing grade in English Composition (C or higher) and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater (transcripts will be verified upon application)
