About the role
Tactical Rehab is seeking compassionate, motivated, and service-oriented individuals to join our growing team as a Patient Care Specialist I (PCS1).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with fitting and proper use of medical equipment.
- Process patient equipment orders and maintain accurate documentation.
- Schedule appointments and provide outstanding customer service.
- Educate patients on equipment use, care, and maintenance.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Support inventory management and office operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work closely with patients in a clinical setting
- PREFERRED: Associate degree in Healthcare, rehabilitation, fitness, medical office, or retail experience
- Preferred: Military service, military spouse, or familiarity with military communities
Compensation
$18.00–$28.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Ongoing Certification Stipends
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS): $86.67 per pay period
- Certified Orthotic Fitter (COF): $86.67 per pay period
- Certified Prosthetic Practice Manager (CPPM): $86.67 per pay period
- Human Resources Certification (HRCI or SHRM): $86.67 per pay period
- Certified Pedorthist (CPED): $173.34 per pay period
