About the Role

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a full-time Front Office Associate to join our Primary Care medical team in Ocala, Florida. We are looking for a positive, energetic team member who loves patient interaction and supports our top initiative of ensuring excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, ability to multi-task and strong computer skills. As a front office associate, you will be responsible for timely check-in and check-out, greeting patients with a warm smile and pleasant voice, and performing a variety of clerical functions for the medical office.

Training & Growth

Millennium will provide extensive training, including both classroom training and in-office shadowing. We will introduce and walk you through our Electronic Health Records systems, referral processes, our Patient Portal, and everything you need to know to be a successful team member. We also offer opportunities for growth, as well as a great team atmosphere that empowers you to seek better ways to deliver service and take ownership of outcomes in providing quality service and support.

Responsibilities

• Timely check-in and check-out of patients
• Greet patients with a warm smile and pleasant voice
• Perform a variety of clerical functions for the medical office

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems (Athena knowledge preferred but not required)
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Schedule

Monday - Friday hours, 7 paid Holidays + 1 personal paid holiday.

Pay

$16.20 to $24.30 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
