Patient Care Representative II

About the Role

The Patient Care Representative II serves as a liaison between patients and their families to ensure services provided are correct based on identified patient care orders. This role works closely with hospital staff to ensure support services address patient needs and overall coordination of care is completed to meet patient safety and satisfaction requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Associate degree; relevant administrative work experience can be substituted on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the required degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years of administrative work experience, preferably in a hospital or outpatient healthcare setting.

Preferred

• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively use commonly known computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology.
• Ability to perform public speaking when needed.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
