Patient Care Partner - Neurosciences

Under the direction of the Patient Care Manager and Charge Nurse, the Patient Care Partner provides assistance to patients and families served by Saint Francis Healthcare System.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with meal orders
• Deliver and collect patient meal trays
• Document meal intake
• Restock galleys
• Assist with answering patient call lights
• Answer outside calls
• Perform miscellaneous clerical duties
• Maintain a positive attitude when assuming tasks
• Work to achieve continuity of care from admission to discharge
• Operate in accordance with the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the Health System

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Current BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Previous computer experience (required)
• Previous clerical experience (required, preferably in the medical field)

Schedule

• Part Time (48 hours per 2 week pay period)
• Day Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm
• 3 days per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
