Instructors provide career technical education within the patient care pathway to secondary school students, combining industry experience with teaching.

Requirements

• Valid license, certification, or degree in patient care (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LVN, Sports Medicine)
• At least 3 years of industry experience
• High school diploma
• California CTE or Designated Subjects Teaching Credential in Health Science & Medical Technology
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Physical capability for lifting and movement
• Compliance with application procedures, including documentation submission
