Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect basic patient information as instructed.
  • Help schedule medication deliveries and refills.
  • Update and maintain delivery schedules.
  • Answer patient phone calls and direct questions to the appropriate team member.
  • Provide basic information about medication deliveries and supplies.
  • Help collect required forms and signatures.
  • Assist with entering medication and supply orders under supervision.
  • Communicate with pharmacy and nursing teams to support timely deliveries.
  • Report patient concerns or issues to a supervisor or clinical team members.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service or administrative experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or medical office setting.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Experience with scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 wpm.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology.
  • Experience answering phones and working with patients or customers.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of insurance processes, referrals, and prior authorizations.
  • Strong communication skills with a patient-focused, empathetic approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads and prioritize effectively.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and collaborative team player.
  • Committed to HIPAA compliance and quality standards.
