Responsibilities
- Schedule new patient appointments and existing patient visits
- Follow up with new patient inquiries
- Contact patients who have missed appointments
- Perform patient reactivation calls
- Help maintain a full and productive schedule
- Confirm upcoming appointments
- Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans and scheduling needs
- Accurately document patient encounters in real time during examinations
- Prepare patient charts prior to appointments
- Assist the doctor with documentation and clinical workflow
- Ensure records are complete and accurate
- Contact insurance companies to verify patient benefits and eligibility
- Obtain benefit information and authorization requirements
- Document insurance information accurately in patient charts
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Greet and check in patients
- Process patient paperwork
- Collect co-pays and payments
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with office organization and daily operations
- Support teammates wherever needed
- Auxiliary in internal marketing campaigns
- Make patient follow-up and referral calls
- Cook up with community events and office promotions
- Auxiliary in social media content and patient testimonials
- Promote a welcoming and exceptional patient experience

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a medical, chiropractic, dental, or healthcare office
Medical scribing or medical terminology experience
Scheduling experience
Insurance verification experience
Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
