About the role

This RN Coordinator of Patient Care Services supports patient- and family-centered care by leading daily unit operations and acting as a clinical role model.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient needs, makes care recommendations, and ensures appropriate staffing and patient flow.
• Acts as a resource for staff, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports nursing professional development and shared governance.
• Makes sure staff schedules are monitored, addresses patient and staff issues, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Requires a diploma, 3 years of acute care RN experience, effective communication, cultural awareness, and knowledge of care coordination, patient safety, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include a BSN or higher, specialty certifications, and physical ability for patient handling.
