Patient Care Coordinator - Per Diem
About the role
This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour Day Shifts. Under minimum supervision, performs diverse and advanced administrative duties and supports multiple information systems support for Imaging Services.
Responsibilities
- Coincides imaging procedures with the radiologists, nursing and technologists.
- Improves the efficiency and accuracy of scheduled imaging studies by coordinating the procurement of necessary data, clarification of orders, and communication with referring practitioners and radiologists within assigned modality(ies).
- Handles and solves problems related to their assignment.
- Works as a team with Imaging leadership to help ensure high levels of quality in all aspects of imaging.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience
- 2 years healthcare business office or Imaging Services
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Health Services or related experience
- 3 years Imaging Services
- Experience with Imaging Information Systems including PACS, EMR, RIS

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
