About the role
At Inland Hearing Aids, we're looking for a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to become the heart of our practice. As the first person our patients see and speak with, you'll create a welcoming experience, build meaningful relationships, and help patients on their journey to better hearing and a better quality of life.
Schedule & location
- Part-Time | 24 Hours Per Week
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday — 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekends
- Ellensburg, WA
Compensation
- $20.00 – $22.00 per hour plus monthly bonus based on clinic and individual performance
- Pay based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer incoming calls and assist with appointments and questions
- Help patients feel comfortable, valued, and supported
- Build strong relationships with patients and their families
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Manage provider calendars and patient flow
- Handle patient records and office documentation
- Maintain an organized and efficient office environment
- Verify insurance benefits and authorizations
- Process payments and financial transactions
- Assist with inventory management and hearing aid tracking
- Maintain accurate reports and patient information
- Conduct follow-up and retention calls
- Support community outreach and marketing activities
- Help maintain a productive appointment schedule
- Contribute to a positive and thriving practice culture
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, patient coordinator, medical receptionist, front desk, customer service, or office support role preferred
- Experience scheduling appointments and interacting with patients
- Insurance verification experience is a plus
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
