About the role

At Inland Hearing Aids, we're looking for a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to become the heart of our practice. As the first person our patients see and speak with, you'll create a welcoming experience, build meaningful relationships, and help patients on their journey to better hearing and a better quality of life.

Schedule & location

  • Part-Time | 24 Hours Per Week
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday — 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No weekends
  • Ellensburg, WA

Compensation

  • $20.00 – $22.00 per hour plus monthly bonus based on clinic and individual performance
  • Pay based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with appointments and questions
  • Help patients feel comfortable, valued, and supported
  • Build strong relationships with patients and their families
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Manage provider calendars and patient flow
  • Handle patient records and office documentation
  • Maintain an organized and efficient office environment
  • Verify insurance benefits and authorizations
  • Process payments and financial transactions
  • Assist with inventory management and hearing aid tracking
  • Maintain accurate reports and patient information
  • Conduct follow-up and retention calls
  • Support community outreach and marketing activities
  • Help maintain a productive appointment schedule
  • Contribute to a positive and thriving practice culture

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, patient coordinator, medical receptionist, front desk, customer service, or office support role preferred
  • Experience scheduling appointments and interacting with patients
  • Insurance verification experience is a plus
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred experience

  • Medical office experience
  • Healthcare customer service experience
  • Front desk experience
  • Hearing healthcare experience (not required)
