About the Role

West Coast Hearing Clinic is seeking a friendly and organized Patient Care Coordinator to support our busy hearing healthcare practice. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with medical office, front desk, reception, scheduling, or healthcare customer service experience who enjoys helping people and providing exceptional patient care. Unlike many medical office roles, you'll work alongside an experienced Patient Care Coordinator and provider team, helping support daily operations and ensuring patients receive excellent service every step of the way.

Schedule

  • Part-Time 20-24 hours per week

What You'll Do

  • Returning messages from patients who called after hours or the previous day
  • Calling patients to answer questions and assist with scheduling
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Helping maintain an organized and productive patient schedule
  • Assisting patients with basic questions regarding services and appointments
  • Supporting the office's daily administrative tasks
  • Assisting with patient records and documentation
  • Helping with insurance verification and office coordination
  • Supporting patient outreach and retention efforts
  • Providing coverage and assistance when the primary Patient Care Coordinator is unavailable
  • Creating a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

Preferred Experience: 2+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, patient coordination, front desk, or customer service role. Experience scheduling appointments and working directly with patients. Insurance verification experience. Medical receptionist or healthcare office experience required. Hearing healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
