Patient Care Coordinator
About the role
Our office, Northeast Endodontics, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a talented and pleasant patient care coordinator to take on all administrative and front office duties to provide an exceptional experience to all patients and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Make a positive and lasting first impression
- Bridge the gap between customer obsession and clerical management
- Deal with complaints and give accurate information
- Welcoming patients to the dental office
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Answering all incoming calls and redirecting them or keeping messages
- Check, sort and forward emails
- Keep updated records and files
- Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
- Facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- 1+ years of proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
- A high school diploma
- Desire to help patients
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
- Ability to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
- Ability to work around medical equipment and instruments
- Ability to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations

Pay
Position Base Pay Range: $19 USD - $24 USD
