Patient Care Coordinator
About the role
The Patient Care Coordinator position is available at Shady Grove Fertility in Norfolk, Virginia. The schedule is Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional weekends and holidays. The role may float to the Virginia Beach office as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients
- Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructions
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families
- Work independently to achieve program goals
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy, and speed with data entry
- Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology

Pay
$19.95 to $27.55 per hour (commensurate with experience)
