Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providers, and internal staff
- Verify and update patient information in the system
- Auxiliary with insurance verification, authorizations, and related documentation
- Handle inbound calls and respond to patient questions with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation
- Support front-office and care coordination functions as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare administrative, patient services, or care coordination role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard office systems
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred
