What You'll Do
- Welcome and assist patients with professionalism, warmth, and empathy
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient communication and scheduling
- Ensure patients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their visit
- Cook up patient scheduling to maximize efficiency and clinical flow
- Maintain accurate patient records, insurance information, and documentation
- Prepare and audit patient charts for completeness and compliance
- Collect and reconcile patient payments in accordance with financial policies
- Manage inbound and outbound patient communications
- Confirm appointments and proactively manage daily schedule flow
- Cook up referral correspondence with referring providers
- Ensure the front office environment reflects NPOS professionalism and brand standards
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, assistants, billing specialists, and leadership
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Comfort working with technology and practice management systems
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with patient information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a dental or medical office
- Familiarity with insurance verification and healthcare terminology
- Experience with patient scheduling and financial coordination
