About the role

Join Newberry Vision Center as a Patient Care Coordinator, the friendly face and voice that welcomes patients from check‑in to check‑out. You’ll create a seamless, personal experience for every visitor while supporting front‑desk operations in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, assist patients with scheduling and answer questions.
• Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
• Maintain efficient front‑desk operations and keep the area organized.
• Support patient flow through strong multitasking and time‑management skills.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience (healthcare or optical experience is a bonus).
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Comfortable using computers and quick to learn new systems.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong organizational abilities.

Pay

$17–$20 per hour, guaranteed hourly rate.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, no weekends.
