Patient Care Coordinator

About the role

As a Patient Care Coordinator at Dreem Health, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the patient experience from start to finish. You’ll support healthcare providers, answer patient inquiries, own key aspects of service delivery, and drive improvements based on real patient feedback. This is an opportunity to help build the operational foundation of a fast-growing digital sleep clinic while navigating a tech-enabled care environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support healthcare providers and address patient inquiries throughout their care journey
• Own key aspects of service delivery and drive operational improvements based on patient feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sleep specialists and external partners
• Navigate electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and digital tools in a fast-paced environment
• Apply foundational knowledge of billing processes and durable medical equipment (DME)

Requirements

• Previous experience in a patient or customer-facing role
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) or healthcare database systems
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, collaborative environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and improving access to treatment

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent healthcare experience (preferred)
• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance and referral processes (preferred)
• High level of empathy and dedication to exceptional patient service

Pay

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
