Patient Care Coordinator

Job Description

Drayer Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team in Huber Heights, OH.

Responsibilities

• Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Schedules new referrals received by fax or by telephone from patients, physician offices.
• Verifies insurance coverage for patients.
• Collections patient payments.
• Maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask, organize, meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision

Physical Requirements

• Subject to inside environmental conditions
• Full-time position operating within normal business hours Monday through Friday
• May be required to attend special events some evenings and weekends, or work additional hours as needed
• Sedentary work
• Constantly sits, with ability to interchange with standing as needed
• Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment
• Constantly communicates with associates
• Occasionally walks, stands, pushes or pulls 0-20 lbs., lifts 0-20 lbs. from floor to waist; carries, pushes, and pulls 0-20 lbs.
• Rarely crawls, crouches, kneels, stoops, climbs stairs or ladders, reaches above shoulder height, lifts under 10 lbs. from waist to shoulder
