Patient Care Associate I - Inpatient Oncology

Role: Patient Care Associate (PCA) with a focus on Oncology care, providing compassionate, patient-centered support to adults at all stages of the cancer journey. Collaborate with RNs and multidisciplinary teams within a nationally accredited oncology program to deliver personalized, evidence-based treatments. Responsibilities Perform first-level patient care, including promoting hygiene and mobilityMeasure and record vital signsRespond to patient and family needs, support routine procedures, and report changes in patient conditionPrepare hospital rooms, change bedding, and assist with patient repositioningDeliver meals, assist with feeding, dressing, toileting, bathing, and listen to patient concernsAct as a patient companion when needed and support physicians and nurses during treatments Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GEDStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for caring for othersMedical terminology knowledge and patient care experience (preferred)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (can be obtained after hire)
