About the role
Support nursing staff with delegated patient care tasks under RN supervision in Surgical Services at hospital campuses.
Responsibilities
- Assist with direct and indirect patient care activities within legal scope of practice.
- Support nursing practice by carrying out designated activities.
- Adapt to unpredictable patient care situations.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- Able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
- Preferred: Completion of 12 college credits or high school diploma/GED with Nursing Assistant training.
- Current Basic Life Support certification from AHA or Red Cross, or willing to obtain during orientation.
Skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Adapt to changing situations.
- Work effectively in a healthcare setting.
Pay
$21.96 to $29.02 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, nonexempt role with variable schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends.
