Patient Care Assistant - Night Shift

Role: The Patient Care Assistant supports nursing staff by performing delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role involves carrying out activities within the legal scope of unlicensed nursing personnel, aligning closely with CNA responsibilities. Responsibilities: Assist in patient care activities, support nursing practice, and help ensure quality patient care. A sign-on bonus is offered for night shift candidates in select inpatient units. Qualifications: Must be 18+, proficient in English, able to follow directions, and have either completed 12 college credits or possess a high school diploma/GED with nursing assistant training. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations is preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross if not already held. Additional Details: This is a full-time, nonexempt position with a pay range of $21.96-$29.02/hour, offering benefits. Schedules include nights, weekends, and various shift lengths, with options discussed during interviews.
