About the role
Location: Tulsa, OK • Facility: Ascension St John Medical Center • Department: Float Staffing
Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
- Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
- Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and report as appropriate.
- Record all observations.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. (Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.)
