Patient Advocate (Part-Time)

About the role

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Patient Advocate on a part-time basis in Fort Myers, Florida. The Patient Advocate will support patients and their families by providing guidance and assistance throughout their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education and support regarding medical conditions and treatment options
• Assist patients and families with navigating the healthcare system
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patient needs are met
• Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (healthcare, social work, etc.)
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient rights and confidentiality regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
