Patient Account Registrar

Job Opportunity Role: Patient Account Registrar Responsibilities Interview patients or their representatives to gather demographics, insurance details, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations.Collaborate with the Admitting department, including PBX and reception areas.Operate computer systems to input and retrieve data accurately.Communicate effectively with patients of all ages using age-specific techniques.Maintain proficiency in medical terminology.Complete special projects or assignments within designated timeframes. Qualifications & Skills Previous hospital admissions experience preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Customer service experience required.High school diploma or GED required. Additional Details Per diem employment with variable shifts. Competitive pay rate of approximately $26.04 per hour.
