Role: Patient Account Registrar The Patient Account Registrar is responsible for interviewing patients or their representatives to collect demographics, insurance details, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations. They collaborate with the Admitting department, operate computer systems for data entry and retrieval, and communicate effectively with patients across all age groups using age-specific techniques. Maintaining proficiency in medical terminology and providing excellent customer service are essential.
