Patient Access Supervisor

Role Purpose
Manages and leads the daily operations of Patient Access staff in assigned areas while focusing on delivering superior service to every patient on every visit.
Responsibilities
- Hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.
- Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
- Ensures teams adhere to regulatory and contracted payer compliance while optimizing patient access functions including, but not limited to insurance verification and eligibility, authorization securement, notice of admissions to payers, accurate collection of data elements required for admission and treatment, patient payment collections.
- Develops, analyzes, and recommends changes that will increase patient satisfaction and improve accuracy and efficiencies within Patient Access and Revenue Cycle. Includes analyzing data and managing team performance on an individual and group perspective to improve outcomes, accordingly.
- Facilitates special projects as identified or assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 2-5 years Supervisor Experience

- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Licenses & Certifications: CHAM
