Day in the Life of a Patient Access Specialist

  • Answering and responding to incoming and returning calls.
  • Responding quickly to patient inquiries.
  • Scheduling and rescheduling patients to the appropriate clinic using various EMR systems.
  • Demonstrating exemplary customer service.
  • Answering basic patient questions and providing program-specific information as required.
  • Aiding with other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • At minimum, a High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, or call center is preferred.
  • Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Schedule

Schedules are variable, see available shifts below:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday - 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
