Day in the Life of a Patient Access Specialist
- Answering and responding to incoming and returning calls.
- Responding quickly to patient inquiries.
- Scheduling and rescheduling patients to the appropriate clinic using various EMR systems.
- Demonstrating exemplary customer service.
- Answering basic patient questions and providing program-specific information as required.
- Aiding with other duties as directed.
Requirements
- At minimum, a High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, or call center is preferred.
- Lived addiction experience is a plus.
Schedule
Schedules are variable, see available shifts below:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday - 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
