Patient Access Representative | Spine Center Scheduling | 40hrs/week

Job Summary

Join our Sanford Patient Access Family and Grow the Good! As a Patient Access Representative, your primary responsibility will be providing extraordinary customer service to patients with every interaction. With being the first point of contact, you will have the opportunity to provide a positive patient experience by creating a welcoming and safe environment, either on the phone or in the clinic.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $16.25 - $23.00

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential
• Six months' customer service experience desired

Additional Duties

• Preparation & coordination of charts
• Organization of supporting provider documents
• Initiation & collaboration of patient financial assistance
• Tracking patient visits & health information management on patient accounts
• Compilation, distribution, administration, and scoring of assessments
• Coordination of Telemed appointments
• Reminder calls for appointments
• Hospital admission
• Office duties, such as making copies or sending faxes
