Schedule
24 hours per week (rotating days/nights, weekends and holidays). The first two weeks of training are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; must be able to attend this training.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience (required)
- HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA certification required within one year of hire
- Medical terminology
- Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding
- Insurance verification experience, including ability to explain benefits and secure necessary authorizations
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-focused customer service
- Perform outpatient and inpatient registration and insurance verification
- Collect patient financial liability payments and ensure compliance with Medicare medical necessity, payer pre-certifications, and referrals
- Provide general information to hospital users, patients, families, and physician offices
- Research, collect, and analyze information to identify opportunities and develop solutions
- Collaborate on performance improvement activities based on program efficiency and patient experience outcomes
- Utilize multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports, and develop educational materials
- Synthesize and analyze data, providing detailed summaries, graphical presentations, and recommendations
- Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, Trinity Health policies, and compliance standards
