Patient Access Representative
About the role
Schedule patients for prescribed procedures by communicating with patients, participants, and staff. Perform patient registration, gathering and entering demographic, insurance, and clinical information into databases. Resolve scheduling issues by seeking resources. Efficiently utilize patient and clinical time when scheduling. Assist with pre-certification/authorization and counsel patients on pre-service requirements and instructions.

Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in Medical Terminology
- At least one year of experience in Optional Surgical scheduling
Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with scheduling and pre-certification processes
