Patient Access Representative

Location: On-Site in Minneapolis, MN

Pay Rate: $21-23/hour

About the role

We are hiring a Patient Access Representative to create a positive, warm, and welcoming safe space for patients while managing patient flow and handling administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients and guide them to appropriate rooms
• Verify patient insurance and assist with care inquiries regarding next steps, referrals, and appointments
• Collect demographic information and complete clear documentation in the Epic system
• Manage patient flow: confirm appointments, register patients, and assist with completing forms
• Take inbound calls regarding appointments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in patient intake, registration, or reception
• Experience working in Epic
• Full-time availability Monday through Friday, 8 AM–5 PM CST
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable attendance with infrequent unexpected call-outs; references required prior to hire
• Strong customer service skills
