The posting does mention schedule specifics: "regularly works nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed; available for rotating on-call schedule as assigned". That's schedule info. So we can include a Schedule section.

Pay: none mentioned. So omit.
Skills: we can extract from qualifications: ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time; effective oral and interpersonal communication; ability to utilize technological resources (phone, computer hardware, various software programs, fax, scanner). Qualifications: include education, experience, certification, preferences, special position requirements, work requirements.

We must not repeat job title as heading. So we start with

Qualifications: include education, experience, certification, preferences, special position requirements, work requirements.
We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We must not repeat job title as heading. So we start with About the role
then
... purpose paragraph. Then
Responsibilities
then- ... each responsibility.
We need to preserve all substantive info. Should we split responsibilities into sub-sections? Not required; just list.
We need to ensure we don't duplicate lines. The responsibilities list includes some repeated lines (e.g., verifying insurance eligibility appears twice). We should keep but maybe we can deduplicate? The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." So we should not remove details, but duplicates might be considered substantive? It says remove duplicated lines (under boilerplate removal). It says: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." So we should remove duplicated lines. So we need to deduplicate responsibilities.
Let's list unique responsibilities:
1. Provides excellent customer service, contributes to overall satisfaction of patient experience, adheres to Behavioral Expectations Agreement.
2. Promptly fields and/or directs incoming calls; responds to patient and/or staff inquiries.
3. Refers patient accounts to financial counselors when further explanation/education needed (denied authorizations, out-of-pocket liabilities, coverage options, payment plans, etc.).
4. Consistently demonstrates willingness to assist co-workers to support department efficiency and support positive customer feedback goals.
5. Participates in ongoing process improvement activities for the team.
6. Floats to other work areas, as requested, and regularly works nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed; available for rotating on-call schedule as assigned to obtain or provide coverage for all shifts during designated on-call period.
7. Demonstrates ability to preregister, register, schedule, reschedule, and discharge patients according to defined guidelines.
8. Enters new patient data and/or verifies patient records are up to date, confirms completeness of EHR and makes changes as necessary.
9. Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits within timeframe determined by KHI.
10. Obtains pre-authorizations from third-party payers in accordance with payer requirements, when needed.
11. Ensures identified information are complete and scanned into patients’ EHR (insurance cards, photo ID’s, physician orders, and other admission documents.
12. Obtains signatures on all required forms.
13. Demonstrates ability to manage co-payments, deductibles, allowances, etc. as instructed.
14. Accurately balances daily cash to include completion of daily cash log, bank deposit slip, and daily reports to Patient Financial Services.
15. Accurately utilizes insurance eligibility/audit tools and report/correct variances within the EMR.
16. Quality performance scores must meet defined goals.
17. Collects upfront co-pays, deductible and coins securing deposits on self-pay and high accounts.
18. Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of department and organization.
Note: Some items like verifying insurance eligibility appears twice (once in registration, once in patient processing). We'll keep one.
Also "Regularly works nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed." appears in both #6 and #17? Actually #6 includes that phrase; #17 is about collecting co-pays; also later "Regularly works nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed." appears again in patient processing bullet. We'll keep only one occurrence (maybe in #6). We'll not duplicate.
Now Qualifications section: we need to include education, experience, certification, preferences, special position requirements, work requirements.
We should maybe break into sub-sections? Not required; just list.
But we have a Qualifications heading already; we can put
Qualifications
then- ... each item.
Items:
- Demonstrates ability to multitask, prioritize appropriately, and manage time efficiently.
- Effective oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to utilize a variety of technological resources (phone, computer hardware, various software programs, fax, scanner)
- Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (will need to provide Diploma or Official Transcripts upon hire)

Now Skills section: we can extract from qualifications: multitask/prioritize/time management, effective oral and interpersonal communication, ability to utilize technological resources (phone, computer hardware, various software programs, fax, scanner). Possibly also ability to manage co-payments etc but that's more responsibility. We'll list those three.
Now Schedule section: we have schedule info: "regularly works nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed; available for rotating on-call schedule as assigned to obtain or provide coverage for all shifts during designated on-call period." Also maybe "Floats to other work areas, as requested". That's more responsibility. We'll put schedule.
Now Benefits and Pay omitted.
Now About the role: we need to include position purpose paragraph: "All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country. At the direction of management, completes the registration process for patients. This includes verification of benefits, discharge of patients, collection of copays or payments, balancing of accounts, and general data entry."
We'll put that in
. Now ensure we don't include any boilerplate like "Position Code", "Department", "Safety Sensitive", "Reports to", "Exempt Status". Those are metadata; we can drop them per instruction: "do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it." So we can drop them entirely. Now produce HTML fragment. We need to use
for section headings. Use
- for lists. Use
for prose. We must not include any extra text outside HTML. Let's craft. Structure:
About the role
- for lists. Use
- ... each item.

We'll put that in
