Pathology Manager

Overview This role involves overseeing departmental operations of the Laboratory, ensuring compliance with point of care testing and offsite areas. The manager monitors safety, efficiency, and quality standards for staff, patients, and visitors. Collaboration with nursing, medical, administrative, and other staff is essential to coordinate patient care, support the facility's mission, enhance customer satisfaction, and identify improvement opportunities. Responsibilities Supervise laboratory operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high performance standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care activities and process improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field; Master’s in Business or Health Administration preferred.Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in an acute care hospital.Demonstrated clinical competency in the relevant specialty area.Certification in medical technology (ASCP, AMT, or AAB) for clinical laboratory management; histology or cytology certification for anatomic pathology management.
